SodaTide Ingredients
Three components, 347 mg per capsule, every amount printed on the label. Here is what each one is and why it is there.

Taken directly from the label. Serving size is one capsule, with 30 servings per container.
Other ingredients: hypromellose (vegetarian capsule), microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate and silica.
Three things this SodaTide label does well
- Every component has a printed figure. No proprietary blend grouping ingredients under an invented name with one combined weight.
- The probiotic strains are named individually. Many products say "probiotic blend" and stop there.
- The formula is focused. 347 mg across three components, roughly 90% of it prebiotic fibre, rather than twenty names at trace amounts.
And one gap worth knowing about
CFU counts are not published. Colony forming units is the standard measure of live organisms in a probiotic and the most useful number on any probiotic label. Without it, nobody can tell you how many live organisms a capsule delivers. We do not estimate it, and if it matters to you, ask the seller before ordering.
SodaTide Ingredients Explained
Each component has its own page covering what it is, why it is included and what the research supports.

Why the Proportions Make Sense
311 mg of the 347 mg total is fermentable fibre, with 36 mg of live cultures. At first glance that looks lopsided; in practice it is the right way round.
Probiotic organisms are counted in colony forming units rather than weighed in useful milligrams, so a small mass can still carry a meaningful number of organisms. Prebiotic fibre, by contrast, has to be present in enough quantity to actually be fermented. Weighting the formula toward fibre is the sensible choice.
How SodaTide Compares to Fibre From Food
Worth being clear about, because it is the honest context. Adults are generally advised to aim for 25 to 35 grams of fibre daily. SodaTide provides roughly a third of one gram.
So this is not a fibre supplement in the sense of closing a dietary gap. It is a targeted delivery of specific fermentable substrates alongside live cultures, taken consistently. Those are different jobs, and you want the food fibre as well.
Safety Notes Across the SodaTide Formula
- Live probiotics — anyone immunocompromised or seriously ill should seek medical advice first.
- Fermentable fibre — expect mild gas or bloating for a week or two while your gut adjusts.
- Fructans — some people with IBS find inulin aggravating. Discuss with your doctor or dietitian if that applies.
- Serious digestive conditions — speak to your doctor before adding any prebiotic or probiotic.
- Not for anyone under 18, or pregnant or nursing.
